Scarlett Langford: your dating coach will see you now

Who she is on the profile

Scarlett Langford is listed at 23 and works as a dating coach in Tokyo. Her card says she has enough dating experience to take on the most desperate cases, and it casts you as a possible new one. Her hobbies are scouting clients, rating passers-by and drinking overpriced coffee, which gives you a clear picture of her afternoons. Voice calls are switched on, gifts are not listed for her, and the chat names no relationship levels, so what you see is roughly what you get.

What talking to her is likely to feel like

Going by her profile, expect critique. Confident, brutally honest and down-to-earth means she will likely tell you your opening line was weak and then explain why. I find that kind of bluntness rather relaxing, because you always know where you stand. Thin-skinned people should think twice. Anyone who enjoys being teased about their dating record could have a very good time, and if you can laugh at yourself she may be great fun. The sharp tongues shelf has others who talk like this.

Where to see her

Scarlett is chat only, with no series on her listing, so you will not get a preview before she gets to work on you. That feels right for a coach, as the assessment begins the moment you say hello. If you want to measure her kind of directness against another, Scarlett against Alex Parker, who is 28, is the comparison to read. Both say what they think; the difference lies in what they seem to want from you once they have said it.
